First, open the Color Picker Dialogue, then choose the colour, and you will see the change in your HTML Charting. I hope that helps.
The downloaded example of HTML-Charting does not work, I can choose a color, but nothing changes and it does not help me understand how I combine your step 2 HTML code with your step 3 input cells, could you give an example of how value=”80″ in HTML code is being updated from an input cell.
